I’ve been a little preoccupied lately. I have ignored blogging to concentrate my energies elsewhere. I need to be better about that. But it also is what it is.
As of the middle of July, I crossed the 10 book bridge. I published my 10th book, Angel (Guardian Angel/Angel of Death) on July 15th. Currently it is only published to Kindle, and available for either $4.99 or FREE if you are a subscriber to Kindle Unlimited. I will publish it to paperback in the not too distant future.
Quickly about the book… It is the backstory of Warren Chestik. Warren appears in Second Chance, as well as Unknown Caller. Admittedly, he is only mentioned in Unknown Caller. He will also appear in At Arm’s Length, which I will talk about more on Friday… in a post about upcoming books.
Chestik is a former special forces operator that finds himself pulled into Jack Dixon’s orbit through personal circumstances. And as his homelife crumbles around him, Jack and Amy step in to save him from himself, even as he has to save others around him. He is a good man, pushed to do bad things for revenge. But still remains a good man. In the story, he loves, loses, and loves again. He finds family and acceptance where he didn’t expect it, and finds a new purpose in life.
I have really enjoyed writing, and love getting feedback from readers (even when they say they didn’t especially like something). My characters are like my imaginary friends (and some enemies) and they have extraordinary lives and adventures. It’s fun to chronicle them, and sometimes even lets me relive some of my own past… or purge it from my system.
