About a month ago I posted an excerpt from this work in progress. I set it aside for a while to work on “New Life” (I hate that title and it will change) getting the story to novel length and finishing the first draft. I have been back at it on AAL for a week or so and I like what I have so far. Here is a small taste.

“Just go.”
She jumped out of the Rover and ran inside, yelling for help. A minute later a pair of orderlies followed her out to help her get him out of the seat. As they wheeled him inside, she tore back out of the ambulance lane and drove back the way they had come. She needed to find the barn with the car again. The police would be looking for the Land Rover any time, if they weren’t already.
