Getting the language right, keeping the characters in character and keeping the details from being mixed or muddled is hard work. And I don’t seek to write simple stories… there are a LOT of interlocking elements.

As he turned to look at the chopper, Nicole Dixon stepped out of the front seat. She took off her headset, set it on the seat, grabbed a duffle bag, closed the door and walked straight toward him. His cameraman shot the whole thing.
The production team never stopped Mike’s feed, so live over the air he said, “Damn, my girlfriend knows how to make an entrance.”
“No doubt,” he heard over his earpiece.

The Caprice overshot the turn, spinning on the road until it could come to a stop and turn around to try to pick up pursuit.
