As he turned to look at the chopper, Nicole Dixon stepped out of the front seat. She took off her headset, set it on the seat, grabbed a duffle bag, closed the door and walked straight toward him. His cameraman shot the whole thing.
The production team never stopped Mike’s feed, so live over the air he said, “Damn, my girlfriend knows how to make an entrance.”
“No doubt,” he heard over his earpiece.

Jack jumped over into the opposite lane and slammed on the brakes, swinging hard into the left-hand turn. He pulled the shifter back down into third gear and punched the gas.
The Caprice overshot the turn, spinning on the road until it could come to a stop and turn around to try to pick up pursuit.

Jack walked through the desert with a bag on his head for almost three hours. That put the time at around six in the evening. He didn’t expect that Gunny and the team would be able to locate him for at least five more hours.
