The dilemma has to be striking. there is a clear choice that HAS to be made. The MC can’t do both. One or the other.

Published in Blogging, BookThe elements can be shuffled a little, and there can be multiple dilemmas, etc. But the elements are fairly set. There can be additional elements, as well. Falling Action is one that is in many types of fiction or storytelling.

Published in Book, In Real LifeFor this year’s NaNoWriMo, I plan on doing my writing in November. But, in order to do that, I will need to make a better plan, and stick to it. It will take more discipline than I have displayed thus far in my writing.

Kicking Butt and Making Names
Published in Book, In Real LifeWhen I am working with real people or fictionalized events, I change the names… usually a lot. I don’t want them getting the wrong idea (that I like or don’t like them more or less than I really do). That is why I seldom want people to know there is a character based on them. It gets messy.

Read it on Your Kindle Device or App
Published in Beta Reads, BookReasons are quite varied. I utilize my Kindle to proof my books… usually a couple of times. Before sending them to my beta readers, I will do a read through on Kindle, since I find I catch a few typos that I skip over reading on the computer screen. I also find that some beta readers prefer to read on their devices as well.
